The Importance of Translating for Nonprofits
With so many crises in the world right now, those fleeing war and violence often have to settle in places where nothing is familiar — much less the local language.Translating for big corporate clients may be satisfying when it comes to money, but there are some kinds of translations that satisfy a human need that often gets overlooked. We all have the potential inside us to create changes in the world. Nonprofits are needed now more than ever. They help end hunger, deal with water supply issues, lack of schools and jobs and many other problems.

Many nonprofit organizations work closely with translators so immigrants and refugees can understand their rights and what steps to take with their new lives.

The U.S. is a country populated and founded by immigrants. Yet there aren’t enough resources for recent immigrants who haven’t learned English at all or not well enough to understand it without help from an interpreter or translated materials.

el Andar Translations has earned the trust of some of the most highly respected nonprofits by consistently providing accurate communications services — in over 30 languages. We have the expertise you require and a dedication to excellence that will help your organization communicate with members and increase awareness of your mission.

I would especially love to hear your opinions on this issue. Please email me at [email protected] or visit me at www.elandar.net .
